The Impostor is the main antagonist and one of the two primary roles of the murder-mystery video game Among Us.

Two Impostors and four Crewmates fought against four Fall Guys from the eponymous video game series in an episode of Death Battle.

History[]

The impostor originates from an alien species which are described as "parasitic shapeshifters". Its goal is simple: Disguise itself among other crewmates and eliminate each and every one of them through killing and sabotaging the locations that they work in. It does this all while blending in, faking tasks and generally keeping a low profile to avoid being voted out and ejected into their certain demise. There can be between 1 and 3 of them within a set of crewmates and are found in locations including The Skield, The Polus, Mira HQ, The Airship and the Fungal.

Personality[]

Simply put, the Impostor is solely intent on eliminating as many other crewmates as possible. Otherwise it is shown to have the same level of intelligence as other crewmates, being able to communicate normally in meetings. The impostor can be manipulative and trick other crewmates into believing that it is innocent or deceiving them into blaming an innocent for its murders. However it can also be quite the opposite, doing a poor job at hiding its innocence but this is dependant on the player's decisions.

Weaknesses[]

Can only kill its victims one by one and has a short cooldown period between each kill.
Crewmate manipulation skills can be poor (Again depends on the player's decisions)
Cannot physically hurt anyone as a ghost.

The Impostor was an eligible character for the Death Battle community vote for Season 10. His opponent was the Fall Guy from the Fall Guys game.
