Interlude[]
Location: Disneyland.
Disney's Magic Kingdom Park, perhaps one of the most famous parks you should visit before you die. There's something very magical about this place, maybe it's because of its atmosphere, the hundreds of attractions or even the famous characters from different movies and series. But we're not going to talk about that, today something very interesting was about to happen.
It was 8:00 AM, the park was officially open to the public and millions of people were already entering, this was about to be a very busy day to all the staff. But there was nothing to worry about, because a certain someone will keep everyone entertained. From the very top floor of the Disney Castle, a figure would look at a very excited audience that was ready to see the star of the show, the latter would just do some stretches and rub his hands in preparation.
???: It's showtime.
He'll pull out a magic wand out of his pocket and with a slight tap, a lightbeam would shoot out towards the middle of the stage, causing an explosion of thousands of sparks, along with that, the figure was transported onto the scenario and did an acrobatic jump before landing in a flashy pose, the audience cheered at his arrival. Ladies and Gentlemen, meet the face of Disney: Mickey Mouse.
Mickey: Ha-Ha! Welcome to DisneyLand everyone, i hope every single one of you can enjoy the amazing wonders of this park, and remember to visit the gift shop before leaving!
This was basically the standard line he always needed to say at the beginning of the presentation, at this point he had this greeting implanted in his mind, but enough talk, this mouse was ready to do some magic tricks.
Mickey: And now, check this out!
He uses the same wand from before, and swings it around a few times, each swing was followed with a trail of sparks, with one final swing of the wand, Mickey would shoot out another lightbeam towards the sky, which promptly exploded into millions of sparks, much like fireworks. The Mouse would then turn towards one of the surprised kids of the crowd and said.
Mickey: Just wait for you to see the nighttime fireworks.
The kid in the front row couldn't obviously contain his excitement, and Mickey knew it. But then something strange would happen, the sparks explosions should have stopped by now but no, the explosions became more frequent and began to rapidly flicker before from out of nowhere, a large green pipe fell from the sky and crashed hard against the ground. Mickey was very confused by this, did he messed up the trick? but there was no time to questioned that.
Mickey: Uh... ta-da?
The mouse said, in a frantic attempt to make this seem like part of the show, but the situation would soon get worst as the pipe began to shake esporatically before spitting a big park, this park was no other than Super Nintendo World. At the top of a platform, a man in red red shirt and blue overalls yelled at a megaphone to gain the attention of everyone. Meet the face of Nintendo: Mario.
Mario: Hello Paisanos! Come on down to Super Nintendo World, just for the price of... 99 dollars!
Wait, 99 dollars? that's just a dollar less than a ticket for Disneyland! Of course people wouldn't let that opportunity slide. The crowd ditched all the Disney merchandise and threw it to the groud as they approached Super Nintendo World, leaving the whole area deserted, with only Mickey being there.
Mickey took a moment to realize what just happened and shifted his glare towards the plumber, who was still advertising the new park on top of the platform. With a serious frown, he tapped the ground with his magic wand to create a platform and when he got up to it, he was lifted of the ground and stopped near Nintendo's mascot. Mario greeted Mickey with a smile.
Mario: hello Paisano! Would you like-a to buy a ticket for... Super Nintendo World...
His cheerful meeting was met with an angry expression from the Mouse, making Mario a little uncomfortable.
Mario: Is there-a something wrong?
Mickey: Yes, there is. I want you to move your little Nintendo World somewhere else!
Mario: B-But why?
Mickey: But why?! You're stealing my customers! My park is literally empty!
Mario takes a look at the current Disneyland, it was indeed empty, so much in fact that a tumbleweed rolled across the ground to emphasize the point. However, Mario responded with a sarcastic approach.
Mario: Well, maybe you should try a little bit harder to attract more customers, perhaps adding a few mushrooms here and there.
The red plumber laugh lightly, which provoked Mickey to finally reach his breaking point and tackle Mario off the platform, a fight cloud ensues with fists being thrown around like crazy before finally breaking off, each mascot standing on their respective theme park. Mario got serious and adjusted his cap, after which he adopted a battle stance and so did Mickey.
Mickey: Well then, pal. I'll show you not to mess with the mouse!
We're getting a lawsuit with this one... FIGHT![]

Mario creates a fireball with a snap of his fingers and lunges it like a dodgeball towards Mickey, he ducks under it and then jumps out of the way as more fireballs are thrown at him. Knowing that he was in a clear disadvantage in terms of powers, he'll wipe out a blue sorcerer hat out of his pocket and put it on his head, his iconic attire changed in a flash, revealing that he was now wearing a red robe. Now with the powers of a sorcerer, Mickey would spark his own fireball on one palm before tossing it towards Mario, the plumber leaped to the right to dodge and the two proceeded to have a snowball fight, only with the slight difference that however got hit would get a third degree burn... maybe...
Mickey: Try this for size!
The Mouse clapped his hands together and gather a lot of magic energy, thus creating a big fireball that was thrown at Mario. But the plumber boy had the perfect counter for this, he dons a yellow cape around his neck and waves it infront of himself, causing Mickey's fireball to be deflected and dash towards the shocked Mouse.
Mickey: Oh gosh.

The fireball rammed against Mickey, sending the Disney mascot flying back and crashing on one of his merchandise stores, fortunately, his landing was soften by a couple of marketable plushies of himself and his friends. Mickey got up noticed that some parts of his robe and hat were on fire, but don't worry, Mario quickly came into the rescue and shot a torrent of water with his trusty F.L.U.D.D to entinguish Mickey.
Mario: Oops, i missed-a spot
Nintendo's mascot pumped F.L.U.D.D once more and fired another torrent of water, Mickey rolled out of the way and snapped his fingers to prepare another magic trick. All the merchandise such as plushies and figures jerked to life and locked eyes on the Plumber. With a terrifying shriek all the merchandise ran forward to attack Mario, he could only fend off a few of them before eventually being overwhelmed and was knocked to the ground, soon, everyone dogpiled on top of him.
Mickey took the sweat out of his brow at the sight of his rival being immobilized, however, the dogpiled of merchandise was blown away as Mario emerged out of it with a body of an elephant, the latter let out a roar and dashed to get Mickey. The mere steps of elephant Mario shook the entire store as he was preparing to tackle Mickey, however, he suddenly materialized a bucket full of water and spilled it all across the floor, causing Mario to accidentally slip during his tackle and overshoot himself before slamming against the wall, creating a very big whole on it.

Mickey got out of the store and looked around to see the whereabouts of Mario, he'll soon find out as a racing car nearly ran him over, thanks to the plumber driving it. Micket frowned and tried to use another magic spell only to realize that his sorcerer hat was gone, Mario has stolen it and waved goodbye as he drove off. Mickey took a deep breath before letting a loud whistle, in seconds his Hot Diggity Hot Rod race car zoomed in to pick up Mickey and the mouse began to chase the plumber in a act of road rage.
They raced across different sections of the park, such as the Main Street, Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, New Orleans Square, Critter Country, etc. Their final stop was the pristine Disney castle, along the way they rammed against some item boxes, the wheel spinned to decide which item they were going to obtain. Mario received an useless coin while Mickey received a much useful item... The plumber heard the sound of something speeding towards him and turned his head around to see what it was, spoiler alert: It was a blue shell.
Mario: Mamma mia...

The two Karts were flung upwards as they went through a ramp and in mid-air, the blue shell divebomb against Mario, causing a blue explosion that knocked the plumber out of his Kart, the Mouse celebrated at his early victory, but what he didn't know that Mario was launched towards him, causing both to fall to the ground and onto the lands of Super Nintendo World. Mouse and Plumber crashed on the grass and bounced a couple of times before retaliating, they were prepared to throw some hands, although that ended not being possible due to them not being aware of his own surroundings, what do i mean by that? Well, they would find out once they looked at a Chaimp Chomp growling at them, combined with drool coming out of his mouth. the eyes of the mascots shrunk down in fear as the Chain Chomp barked at them, commencing a hilarious chase to see who ends up becoming the food of this beast. Mario and Mickey dodge the best they can so they don't get eaten, any little screwed up could cost them their lifes, so they needed to think of something fast.
Mario: Let's-a Go!
Mario swoop a hammer out of his pocket and does a spin to bonk it on the Chain Chomp's head, the Bowser minion squealed in pain and ran away to not get hurt. Mario puts the hammer on his shoulder and sighs in relief, but that relief wouldn't last long since Mickey lunged forwards with his magic Paintbrush, smacking it on Mario's head and pushing him into a warp pipe.
Mickey: Hot dog!

He'll say as he followed Mario down the pipe. This pipe transported them to an underground section with both fighters now being animated in sprites. Mickey fired a stream of paint, prompting Mario to jump over it and take out his definitive power up, the Super Star. He evades a couple more ink strikes and activates the invincibility, his clothing turns into a rainbow pattern once activated, tho Mickey doesn't take importance of this and fired a large stream of ink towards Mario, unfortunately the ink simply tickled the Plumber as he approached fast without obtaining any damage.
Mickey's pixel eyes widen in shock as he received a sucker punch by Mario, followed up with a rush of punches to the face, The Disney mascot recoiled back and he used his magic Paintbrush to create an anvil, he smashed it above Mario's head, however, the plumber didn't even flinch. Mario disarmed the Mouse and grabbed him by the neck like a rubber chicken, causing Mickey's eyes to inflate like ballons, at the same Mario winded up a wyld haymaker to finish him off... until his invincibility ran off.
In a hilarious timing, a bomb-omb walks into frame, he took a look at both mascots... before blowing up.

They were launched straight into the sky once more now back into their 2d selves, with no power ups nor items remaining, just mano a mano. Mickey regain consciousness and was the first one to attack, he tackled Mario mid-air and the two began to struggle to see which one comes on top.

Mickey suddenly grabbed Mario by the mustache and forcefully leaned back, causing his face to contort into huge pain due to the feeling of his mustache trying to be ripped off.

Mario yanked his mustache, prompting Mickey to also be flung straight at the plumber, in which he delivers a powerful headbutt on the Mouse, making him recoil back in pain. Suddenly, Mario clutched Mickey, and squished his body into a dodgeball before spinning rapidly.
Mario: SO LONG-A, RODENT!!!

He spikes Mickey onto the ground, a sonic boom is emitted once he released him and the Mascot of Disney was flung straight onto his own castle while screaming, causing a giant explosion of fireworks upon collapsing.
K.O![]
The guests, who were somehow unaware of the fight, saw all the fireworks and cheered for the spectacle of lights. Meanwhile, Mario safely landed on the ground and dust off his cap, surely this wasn't expected for this setback on his schedule, but alas, it was now time to keep the theme park going.
...
A few hours later, a Disneyland janitor is cleaning up the mess left after the fight, he moves a couple of debris of the castle and finds Mickey, in a battered state.
Mickey: Is that you... Walt?
Janitor: Nope, it's Jimmy. Oh, and by the way, you better give me a good pay after cleaning this mess.
He says before going right back at his business.
