From the animators of Death Battle, this is ONE MINUTE MELEE! WHERE ALL THE FIGHTS ARE SETTLED IN 60 SECONDS!
RESEARCH?! THERE'S NO TIME FOR RESEARCH! WE PUT 60 SECONDS ON THE CLOCK! AND LET THE FIGHTERS DO ALL THE TALKING!
2 FIGHTERS, NO RESEARCH, 60 SECONDS, 1. MINUTE. MELEE!
Welcome to the One Minute Melee Fanon Wiki!
Where you — Yes, YOU! — can write your own episodes of One Minute Melee!
What is OMM? The animated series began as a spin-off of ScrewAttack's popular Death Battle series, where freelance animators led by Mali De'Lisser once again made popular fictional characters beat the pulp out of each other. However, there were key differences between it and Death Battle, namely: a sixty second timer on (most) battles, the option to end a fight without a death, and absolutely no analysis put into the victor. The show eventually split from ScrewAttack onto its own channel, HyperGauge, for a few more seasons before going on indefinite hiatus after season six. With season seven confirmedly taking its time in production, several of its animators have joined forces with another channel, Organization XVX, to produce the similar Mini Rumble/Riot Rumble battles.
This fanon wiki is for writers, and fans of crossover combat, to write their own One Minute Melees. If you're interested in making characters fight, but don't want to involve research or analysis in deciding your battle, then this is the place for you.
Rules
A link to our full guidelines will be below, but here are the standout ones that everyone must abide by.
- You ARE NOT allowed to edit another user's fight without their permission. This includes erasing it, changing the victor, or changing the sequences of events, even if you think it is "wrong".
- There is NO RESEARCH OR ANALYSIS when deciding the winners of fights on this wiki, so therefore a fight cannot even be "wrong" in the first place. You are of course welcome to do research on characters you are unfamiliar with so you can write them effectively, but who the stronger or faster character/verse is, is completely irrelevant to deciding who wins. Make whoever you want win, and let others do the same.
- You ARE allowed to write your own version of an already-existing fight, regardless of if your fight will have the same result. To do so, use a tabber on the page, or ask a staff member to set one up for you.
- Fights written in 2017 or later must be a minimum of 400 words in story length.
- Be respectful.
