(Gutter Glitter, 0:00-2:00)

A clock designed like an owl keeps ticking back and forth, with big black eyes following the direction of the pendulum. It would be enough to make anyone sleepy by looking at it, but a shadowy figure lies in the room with only the whites of their eyes staring out of the darkness at the clock. Littered around the room are broken toys and dolls, one of which is pushed to the side when a door to the room opens. A small hand rests on the doorknob from the other side.

???: You’re not asleep are you? I have some good news. That demon guy told me something exciting!

The eyes stop following the pendulum and stare at the door, fixated on who cracked it open. Evidently someone familiar.

???: I think tonight is going to be a very fun night, dear sister!

With these words, several dull colours of the rainbow light up in the hallway, but only enough to reveal a faint silhouette of a small humanoid figure. In the room on the bed, the eyes turn from a thousand-mile stare into eyes of ecstatic joy. A red streak suddenly erupts from nearby, streaming straight towards the owl clock.

With bright yellow eyes, an actual live owl swoops out of the night and lands on the branch of an oak tree, sending a swarm of bats into a panicked flight and up against a bright crescent moon. This isn’t the mysterious room, it is the outdoors in the dead of night. Far behind the frightened crowd of creatures, two more swarms fly against the moonlight, making their way across a lake covered in mist. At a mesa on the lakeside, the outline of a manor stands out against the blue sky, but no lights are escaping from it. That doesn’t stop the two swarms from flying towards it, eventually swooping down and examining the front walls up close. Finding no windows to fly through, they split up. While one warm of bats takes flight around the back of the building, the other slightly smaller group climbs up the walls, and finds a small vent near the roof. Each individual bat slowly crawls inside.

Inside the mansion, is a scene of decadence. Fine red carpets line the floor and the stairways, as well as finely polished staircases and fine chandeliers. However, with no flames in the candles, no movement in the hallways, and no noise anywhere, the mansion belies its appearance. There is an overall feeling of emptiness, but not abandonment. But one by one, the bats trickle in, and swirl around in a spiral at the center of the foyer. After all have arrived, they converge, and in a flash of purple light, they disappear, replaced with a young succubus with short pink hair. She flaps a pair of wings attached to her back, as well as a smaller pair on her head, to keep just above the ground while she surveys the area.

Lilith Aensland: Well, this place doesn’t seem too exciting. But it does look creepy…

???: Heeheeheehee! Creepy is right! And we can show you exciting!

The candles in the room all light up at once, lighting the place up and displaying the true grandeur of the lobby. But the phantasmagoria still has shadows in the upper corners the candelabras can’t reach, and in two such shadows on each side of the room, two pairs of demonic eyes light up.

???: Aw, big sister! It looks like we have an uninvited guest! Just like you said we would!

???: You’re right, little sister! Do we want to find out why she’s here?

???: We can make her tell! Or not!

Lilith: Oh, we’re just looking for something. Or, technically someone? Whatever.

???: Who’s “we?”

???: Let’s show the intruder there’s nothing here except for playtime with us!

Two red flashes escape the shadows on the ceiling, and swirl by Lilith in a gust of wind. She doesn’t move, merely watching their taunting displays, before they each land at the top of the stairs, landing on the railings. Each has the appearance of a young girl with a red and white dress. But the sneers on their faces, and their own sets of wings, show their true nature as vampires.

Remilia Scarlet: You’re no human, but you should still be scared!

Flandre Scarlet: Our bloodlust is deep, and our fangs are bared!

Remilia: No devils are as powerful as us vampires!

Flandre: You’re about to painfully expire! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

While Remilia seems more level-headed with her excitement, Flandre’s pupils seem to shrink into her eyes and her head tilts, clearly more excited for who she sees as a free drink down below.

???: The most powerful of devils, are you? Interesting…

The Scarlet sisters look up, and see a second swarm of bats come down from the upper levels. It flies between the two young vampires and down below to join Lilith, who reacts with indifference.

Lilith: There you are! Slowpoke!

Just like the first entrance, this group of bats manifests itself in a humanoid form, though older in appearance than Lilith. This succubus has longer, green hair that she brushes out of her shoulders. With a sly grin, Morrigan Aensland looks up to the vampires on the sisters on the staircase.

Morrigan: Well, what do you “powerful devils” want with the most powerful of us Darkstalkers?

Lilith: She doesn’t look too right in the head, sis.

Morrigan: Well then, I think this will quite literally be child’s play.

Flandre: OOOH!

The Scarlet sisters spread their wings, but rather than take flight, they childishly slide down the bannisters to land at the bottom. They step up to the Aensland sisters, who float to the ground. The sister pairs stand face-to-face with each other, the succubi staring down at the vampires. Lilith, Morrigan, and Remilia smile at each other, but Flandre is nearly straight-up cackling.

Flandre: PLAY! PLAY! LET’S PLAY!

Morrigan: Very well, lets!

Remilia: Save some of their blood for me, sis!

Lilith: Bold of you to assume you can draw any.

Announcer: PAIR UP, AND THROW DOWN! READY!

FIGHT!!![]

60 (Kill the Sun, 0:34-1:34)

All at once, the four fly upwards and backwards, each charging a sphere of magical energy in between their fists. The attacks of the succubae radiate with a pulsing fog, while the impending blasts from the vampires crack with sparkling electricity. Purple for Morrigan, green for Lilith, white for Remilia, and red for Flandre; the four attacks are hurled all at once; the result is a devastating rainbow-coloured blast that bursts in the space between the flighted fighters. As the shockwaves radiate outwards, Morrigan and Remilia raise their wings and ride the hot winds, gliding backwards and up into the air. Flandre and Lilith, meanwhile, swoop downwards and fly around the blast to attack each other closer to the ground.

58

Flandre spreads her arms wide, in the process forming a flaming broadsword in between her hands. She swings forward with several slashes, leaving a trail of embers in its wake, but Lilith parries by slashing her own wings forward. Her wings melt and reshape into sharp blades of their own, and slash forward to deflect the strikes of the sword. Flandre keeps up her attacks, and Lilith switches weapons; her blades go back into wings, and she kicks upwards with a sickle blade extending from the sole of her foot. This kicks the flaming sword away, and knocks Flandre back a small distance. Lilith then takes flight to retreat, and Flandre giggles before flying after her.

Morrigan spreads her wings wide, and a dozen speartips form in the patagium. The fire out one at a time, long spears that streak through the air right towards Remilia. With a flash of light, the vampire forms a massive spear of her own, only made of a brilliant purple light and with tips at both ends. With a mighty twirl of her weapon, she shatters every spike coming at her, then when they’re cleared, throws her energy javelin right towards Morrigan’s chest. Two energy blasts from Morrigan’s hands destroy the weapon in a shower of light, before more lights light up on Morrigan’s back, giving her jetpack-like propulsion and sending her rocketing towards Remilia. The scene then zooms in on them.

54

Morrigan uses her momentum to drive her knee into Remilia’s face. She follows up by attacking with her other knee, and then transitioning into three kicks with her right leg, a spin in the air, and a kick with her left heel. During the roundhouse, two glowing, spinning disks emitting a rainbow light appear next to Remilia’s sides; after she takes the fourth high heel to the face, she grips them and swings them forward, cutting into the Scottish succubus’ midsection in a cross pattern. A red explosion from the battle underneath them goes up, casting their dark shadows onto the wall behind them. And with Morrigan stunned momentarily, Remilia then headbutts her, hard enough to send her flying up into the air with a few meters of distance in between them. The Scarlet vampire brings her hands clapping together, shattering the rainbow disks in a burst, and from this, sending out six smaller rainbow blasts. These attacks radiate outwards, then curve back, all homing in on Morrigan. But as they close in, Aensland recovers, and instantly dissipates her body into a swarm of bats. They spread out, letting the attacks harmlessly pass through them, and reform into Morrigan with the explosion safely behind her. Already with her legs pointing straight out and blades protruding from her feet, Morrigan uses the blastwave from Remilia’s own attack to drive her forward while she spins like a corkscrew. The shadowkick drills into Remilia’s body, carrying the two all the way to the ground where the vampire crashes on the floor, and the succubus stands over her with a foot on her throat.

46

A flash of orange in front of her forces Morrigan to change the object of her attention, and she crosses her wings in front of her to defend against a fireball launched at her. Flandre flies in with her sword at the ready, and starts swinging wildly; the green-haired beauty slashes with her wings to deflect the attacks as her sister did earlier, but the speed of Flandre eventually gets through this defense, and she manages three quick strikes to Morrigan’s chest. During this time, Remilia has recovered, and after avoiding Morrigan stumbling around, stretches her wings wide; Lilith briefly appears with her hands glowing purple, but the elder vampire shoots forward and tackles her out of the frame; a white blast radiates from their new fighting location. After opening up Morrigan’s guard, Flandre’s sword vanishes, and she jets forward, swinging her arms while laughing manically; her hands leave glowing red claw marks in the air as they slash forward, pushing Morrigan backwards, and then the Scarlet sibling spins like a tornado rising upwards, slashing Morrigan even more as she carries the Aensland girl with her. After her spinning stops, both of Flandre’s hands are pointed right at Morrigan’s body, and they begin to shoot out hundreds of thin red needles, most blasting right on target and pushing Morrigan into the air with each hit. Flandre yells out in joy, and stops her barrage to put her hands to her sides, right alongside her rainbow-adorned wings. The vampire jets upwards right towards Morrigan, but alas, Aensland has already recovered from the attacks. With meticulous timing, a blade comes out of Morrigan’s right forearm, and she spins with a rising uppercut that slices Flandre up the face just as she arrives. Morrigan then reaches out, gripping Flandre by the neck with both hands; purple energy slowly starts to flow from Flandre’s body into Morrigan’s as the succubi sucks life energy out of her opponent, but her main attack comes soon. Flipping over backwards, Morrigan begins flying straight towards the ground with a corkscrew piledriver, spinning Flandre around as she slams the two right into the floor of the mansion. When the dust and splinters settle, the two dark beasts fly several feet away from each other, and Morrigan charges up another soul fist while Flandre conjures a ball of electricity. They fire, the blasts hit each other, and everything goes white.

34

The view switches to the battle between Remilia and Lilith. The two are fighting in close quarters, using punches, kicks, and their wings to strike each other at an equal ferocity. They manage to clutch hands, and the tips of their wings, in a struggle to push against the other, but Lilith emerges victorious quickly when six spikes shoot out of her wings, free to attack when all of Remilia’s limbs are locked down. Scarlet is knocked backwards, and Lilith raises her hand, commanding even more spears to shoot out form the ground in quick succession, each jutting out higher than the last; Remilia is hit by them all, and carried upwards to a point where Lilith throws a soul fist she had been charging with her other fist. The green blast bursts upon impact with Remilia’s body. But as it dissipates into entropy, the vampire’s body is nowhere to be seen. A stunned Lilith has no time to react as a magical portal to a void world appears behind her, and Remilia emerges with her arms stretched overhead, and a magical sigil spinning in the air behind her. A huge ball of energy forms between her palms, and hundreds of purple blasts fire out of it in a circular pattern, catching Lilith in the downpour of attacks. They soon stop, but only for a chain length made of pure purple energy to snake out and wrap around Lilith’s leg; Remilia, holding the other end, whips the chain around, slamming the young Darkstalker around before throwing her towards the ceiling. At the brief point where the chain is straight, it solidifies into Gungnir, and Remilia throws it up to pin Lilith to the roof of the foyer. The elder Scarlet flies up to meet her, and after two hooks to the face, kicks Lilith back down to the carpet just as a fireball explodes nearby.

21

Morrigan, having been hit by an attack from Flandre, flies through the air and crashes into Remilia’s body. They turn towards each other, and the warrior instinct of each has them instantly attacking each other with punches and kicks; down below, Lilith gets up, and spots Flandre flying towards her. Her wings fold in and stab into the ground, and with impressive strength, they lift her whole body into the air like an Olympic gymnast; Flandre flies right between the wings and under her body, and Lilith then brings her feet crashing down, pinning Flandre to the ground. Despite her predicament, Flandre giggles, and her body then flashes white. Four shapes of energy split apart and fly outwards, leaving Lilith standing on nothing, and four clones of the vampire floating around her. Each clone of Flandre fires a bolt of flames at the succubus, stunning her, and flies forward to continue; they are interrupted, however, when Lilith generates her own clone out of her body. Her mirror dall and her real body intercept a clone each, and destroy them with three fast punches and a kick. They then switch to the last two bodies, and attack with slicing maneuvers from their wrists and wings. Each Lilith then holds out a soul fist, burning into the Flandres point-blank. The last clone fades away, and the mirror doll which destroyed it flies backwards into Lilith’s body. The merging causes her active soul fist to grow larger in power, and it bursts, sending Flandre flying backwards. Her flight is met with a descent of Remilia’s body after a burst of green energy radiates from the ceiling, and the Scarlet sisters crash into the ground next to each other.

10

Flandre and Remilia quickly push themselves back up, not done quite yet. With a brief moment of eye contact, and a grin from each, the two vampires hold up an arm, and grasp hands. A massive sigil of white and blue forms in the air behind them, its different layers spinning in different directions; from this, a Danmaku rain of fires shoots out hundreds if not thousands of bolts of energy at the two succubi. Morrigan and Lilith swerve and swoop through the air to avoid the attacks, but the bolts eventually catch up to their bodies; one quick hit turns into two, then three, and the two Darkstalkers become surrounded by the bright lights of the explosions.

4

Flandre and Remila smirk, the elder sister in a satisfied manor and the younger in a more sadistic tone, but both gain equal expressions of shock when the sound of shrieking bats cries out above the noise of the deadly curtain of attacks. With expert maneuverability, the bats come forward, having weved through the attacks with their smaller bodies. There is only a split second of them reforming into Morrigan and Lillith, each with a devious grin on their faces as the gap between them and the devils is closed.

2.5

With a flash of light, Flandre and Remilia find themselves in between Morrigan and Lilith, and the two Aensland sisters mimic each other’s movements perfectly, with the resulting beatdown. Punch, kick, punch, wing stab, kick, kick, spinning slash, kick, punch, elbow, kick, wing stab, punch, kick, cartwheel kick, kick, kick, spinning slash, and a final devastating kick from each succubus sends the vampire sisters crashing down into the floor of the manor with an impact that shakes the foundation to its core.

K.O!!![]

(Gutter Glitter, 0:00-0:32)

Flandre and Remilia’s bodies remain on the ground, with swirly eyes and drooling mouths decorating each of their faces. Lilith and Morrigan descend, and touch down on the ground before folding their wings back into their bodies.

Morrigan: I must say, that was something fun. And here I thought this night was going to be dreadfully boring.

Lillith: Same here. I hope they have pleasant dreams! But for now, let’s tear the house apart until we find who we came for!

The two turn around, and suddenly stop. The finely decorated manor they previously fought in, is now covered in every square inch with cuts, slashes, charred wood, splinters, shattered glass, destroyed furniture, holes in the walls, and every possible element of destruction that could be imagined. Morrigan simply tuts to herself, and starts to levitate to what’s left of the stairs.

Morrigan: Well, it looks like we have our work cut out for us in one aspect of that.

Lillith: Yeah. They’d need to stop time to put this back together anytime soon!

With that, Lillith flies after Morrigan, and the victorious Aensland sisters leave the unconscious Scarlets behind.
